Nostalgia of Le Chat Noir

Once upon a time in Second Life, there was a little cat who lives with his owner in an old house down by the sea. He would spend his days licking his face and paws, purring when his owner stroked him, played with him and gave him lots of delicious food and treats. He didnt like to leave his house much so usually could be found sleeping, waking up and stretching by the bed. He especially liked silk bedspreads, fine Egyptian cotton sheets and the smell of fresh milk. The gray old bench and the inside of the antique wardrobe full with his owners clean dresses, nighties and lingerie was his fav places to sit and listen the sounds of the world. He remembered often of his sister, a little ginger kitty who passed away while while chasing a pigeon along the balcony so would feel nostalgic and weep from time to time. Here’s a picture of him waking up and stretching, you can picture the gray bench he so loves which is made by Fri.day and released in three colours mint, antique and grey. It’s only 1 land impact so you can fit it to anywhere and enjoy sitting on it watching the sea from the window like the little black cats owner!:P It has  different animations and seats only one avatar. Two events not to miss before November ends and magical rooms!

So, we already celebrated Halloween but things to celebrate and appreciate never ends is it? Well, Halloween might be over already but that doesn’t mean we should end our search for some escapism, fantasy and magic. And I think one of the best ways to succeed it is to put on a record which oozes some magic into our ears and surround ourself with beautiful, magical, pretty things. Of course it’s easier to do that in a virtual world like Second Life, the perfect platform to live your fantasy dreams and in the comfort of your virtual house. As I love to change houses in Second Life, I am always on the look out for new houses and skyboxes. This week, Trompe Loeil’s latest skybox from last month of Collab88 has caught my eye in my invo and I was standing right in the middle of it and thinking how I should decorate it. In the endI thought I will start from the bedroom. The place where we should feel most relaxed, serene and happy.  And of course what’s better then to shop in events where designers showcase their latest released and come home with goodies to decorate your new house! Two events are continuing right now in Sl; Fameshed and One Word. Mudhoney had released the most comfy, stylish and functional bedroom set for Fameshed this month. The bed and the bed side tables are perfect, you can choose and buy it by different colour headboards and then with one click, the tufted headboard allows you to change the colours and patterns of the pillows, duvet and throw. I have chosen the beige toned one with my undying love for muted tones and it looks amazing in that starry night skybox! Perfect!!  And then I realized what do I most need in wintery cold months ahead us? A cute, little knitted covered hot water bottle to warm the cold toes of course!! So with that thought at my mind,  I headed to the One Word event. One Word  is a monthly event which has many designers from fashion to home and to poses. Buttery Toast’s little hot water bottles are there to be find. It comes with decor and holdable versions and has a hud to change the colour of the heart on it. But something was still missing in my bedroom when I got back to home and then I thought these newly released beautifully patterned Fri.day pillows, lovely Darling Monday released those for the Xiasumi event. You now, when you’re doubt in home decor, never fear to use some pillows and throws. Pillows are a life saver, add chic to your decor and always handy to have extra seats around right?  Now I know how I can spend the rest of my sunday, snuggled in my comfy bed with my cat, accompanied with loads of pillows, foamy coffee, hot water bottle and a nice song to dance on the bed with!
