Sometimes I dream that I’m living in a mansion on a rainy hill near the sea somewhere. Where I would have a few cats, a few dogs and maybe a horse. A big garden with lots of lush trees which I will wander around with my dogs. And Apple Fall’s new released Hardwick Manor just lets you(and me!) to do that in our virtual corner of the world called Second Life… It’s a marvelously big house with a huge staircase, frescoed doorways (The doorway in the second floor if you look closely have beautiful flowery frescoes), some wide window nooks which you can place your benches and sofas so you can read a book and enjoy your coffee or just watch the outside, beautiful french glass doored living room, tiled bathroom floors and the most pretty sunroom you can ever see in Second Life which opens to a kitchen area. It has two bedrooms in the second floor, a bathroom, a huge attic in the thirdfloor. It’s a beautiful big house which will sit nicely in a nice landscaped spot. I say team it with the antique looking Clifton fireplaces from Apple Fall and you’ll have the most perfect manor in the neighboorhood!

Autumn is Coming

autumn is coming

” Every time she looked to that old photograph she filled up with a sense of warmth and longing. Longing of the autumn days of her childhood, the big white dog at her aunt’s house, the warmth of the old, antique fireplace and the sound of her aunt’s preparing tea and cookies in the kitchen. The big white dog was very old, he would usually sit near the window or lay by the fireplace and would let her stroke his long white neck. She would also enjoy playing with the puzzle which her aunt kept in the living room, while the dog watches them carefully then they would sip silently their tea. Her aunt would read her old kids books while she played on the rugs. These were the memories behind that photograph and she could just feel being back at that time again whenever she looked at it especially when autumn is approaching.”

Hey everyone!

After a few of days blog difficulties (I couldnt reach my page etc but seems all back now!) I can finally present my new home and piccies!! Like it wasnt enough for me to not able to reach my blog the weather went sooo hot suddenly with the humid weather and 35 C degrees it’s hard to even move or breath!! But what do we do at life’s difficulties?? We say ” Haha” to it and ran away to our virtual Second Life to play!:)) And so I was hanging around in my tiny beach then decided I want a little cottage near sea where I can enjoy a green, wild garden and also the view and coolness of the sea. So I placed my little Dust Bunny cottage and started to decorate with the beautiful bed which Apple Fall did for Indie Teepee event (it’s an amazing rustic boho bed!!<3) and the elegant yet romantic armchair from Abiss Design and the clean cut yet a little rustic beautiful Mudhoney bathroom for Fameshed July..You can see all the pictures below, I enjoyed so much decorating this little place while drinking my Apple Fall cherry iced tea and cooling off on the whimsical WhatNext garden bench. Hope you’ll all like it too!

Till next time,

Nostalgia of Le Chat Noir

Nostalgia of Le Chat Noir

Once upon a time in Second Life, there was a little cat who lives with his owner in an old house down by the sea. He would spend his days licking his face and paws, purring when his owner stroked him, played with him and gave him lots of delicious food and treats. He didnt like to leave his house much so usually could be found sleeping, waking up and stretching by the bed. He especially liked silk bedspreads, fine Egyptian cotton sheets and the smell of fresh milk. The gray old bench and the inside of the antique wardrobe full with his owners clean dresses, nighties and lingerie was his fav places to sit and listen the sounds of the world. He remembered often of his sister, a little ginger kitty who passed away while while chasing a pigeon along the balcony so would feel nostalgic and weep from time to time. Here’s a picture of him waking up and stretching, you can picture the gray bench he so loves which is made by Fri.day and released in three colours mint, antique and grey. It’s only 1 land impact so you can fit it to anywhere and enjoy sitting on it watching the sea from the window like the little black cats owner!:P It has  different animations and seats only one avatar. The bed and the wardrobe, roses, bag, dummy and lamps by Apple Fall. The pictures by Tres Blah. I will continue with the adventures of the little black cat here from time to time so watch this space! Till we meet next time, bye!!<3

Weekends at the farmhouse

When the sun starts to warm up and april showers begin the best thing that can be done is to have weekend aways at the country. So thats what I do in SL, long weekends at the farmhouse, away from the citys noise, crowd and pollution. Apple Fall’s farmhouse which he released in March just allowed me to create the most inviting and cozy weekend house. I have filled with furniture and accessories from WhatNext ( the daybed she did for The Liason Collaborative was to die for), Apple Fall (so many beautiful items like cute chinoserie armchairs, cafe breakfast table and chairs, Mudhoney’s latest releases like the window shades and the mint bag and shoes. The whole house makes me feel relaxed and happy, and I hope I could capture that feeling in my picture too! Welcome to the farmhouse, enjoy my lovelies! I’m late! I’m late! (spring has arrived)

Hello my lovely readers ❤

I know I been bad and very, very late just like the infamous white rabbit but I been held off deep in the forest by some mad hatter, dormouse and a march hare for their new houses decoration!:P Joke aside, I have some cute (and hopefully inspirational decoration pictures of the most cute rl based but made in second life by the talented designer of Thistle Homes, Liz Gealach. And it was just what I needed to showcase the many beatiful items in my very full inventory by Apple Fall, WhatNext, Mudhoney, The Loft, Fri.Home etc. I love houses converted from other buildings made for other purposes, schoolhouses, barnes, churches, sheds etc. And this one had one spacious attic room which I divided to two  (just by simply putting 2 walls) so it can accomedate the little bathroom; again a spacious living room and kitchen. Also a nice porch which can be enjoyed on the many upcoming spring and summer nights. I’m leaving you with the pictures now, I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do. And I know I always say this, but this time I am serious, wait for my new post which will include some very recent released for spring! Mwahs!

It was a beautiful day_edited_edited

A look back at the last December/January releases!

Hi Guys!<3

I know I have been silent for so long but rl got so hectic and I couldnt had any time to post my Christmas/New Years Eve releases pics..But here I am it’s almost February but I have loads of festive photos of my sl house (8f8 cottage for Arcade December) and little getaway cottage (Dust Bunny for Arcade December) taken around xmas time. Well good news is you can find all of these releases at stores inworld still and they’re perfect for all winter season not just xmas. I won’t write too long about this post but basically these are the photos from my both xmas houses and both were at Arcade December. I have also decorated two different lovely fireplaces, one with rich, dark colours (Lisp) and one with pastels which was from Mudhoney (was at Arcade December and now at Mudhoney store) and Circa’s releases around December/January. The tree is from Abiss and it’s amazing because its texture change and materials enabled. Me and my sl pets enjoyed watching it and playing under it so much. I can’t recommend enough to spend money on the tree now because then you’ll be ready for next year! Mudhoney’s chaise can be seen below as well, it’s a beautiful and comfortable chaise which will go with any room or decor. I loved the throw which comes with it, and of course throw and pillows texture change. I have also falled inlove with Circa’s beautiful xmas decors, like the beautiful heart shaped wreath, candy canes, the lighted birdcage, cookies and milk for Santa and the framed deer picture…I can honestly say that this was my best sl xmas ever and I think also it was the year designers have gone to another level of perfection with their festive designs. I’m leaving you with the pics but only till next time! See ya darlings!

Happy Halloween!!

One of my most fav things to do around Halloween time is to rewatch the famous tv show Charmed again (well at least one or two episodes). Charmed was a tv show about three sisters (Halliwell sisters) who happen to be modern day witches and live in San Fransisco. The show was on air around the world from 1998 till 2006 and one of the reasons I loved that show was because of the beautiful, old historical Victorian house which has been used in it. It’s a gorgeous painted Victorian house with stained glass windows, original woodwork and fireplaces, big attic and a large sunroom. I love dreaming that the house is mine and that I am redecorating it (of course while staying loyal to the house’s history) and how fun that would be! Sighs. It’s the ultimate dream house! So you can guess how happy and surprised I was to realize that Bauwerk have actually made a Second Life house largely inspired by the Halliwall Sister’s Manor for this month’s Collab88!! It looks almost the same as the original house, have the same attic, stairs, sunroom, kitchen etc!! It’s my dream witchy house only in 3d form in Second Life! What more a girl can want? So, the moment I got my hands on this house and I rezzed it and I can’t tell you how happy I am with it! It’s a big house and have 3 bedrooms, kitchen, attic, living room, entrance, lobby, sunroom. It has stained glass windows just like the house in the tv series and so enjoyable to live in. Oh also it’s mod and 52 Prims (123 Land impact) so you can decorate it and fill it with your stuff to your heart’s content. Don’t forget to pick it up from Collab88 before October round ends.

I will definitely decorate it again in a few months after Halloween but for Halloween the new spooky Apple Fall bench and swing (at Collab88 again), also pumpkins from Mudhoney and WhatNext was all I need to create the perfect setting for the season!! Enjoy the pictures!! Happy Halloween!!

Candy Fair might just be over but candy season isn’t!!

Halloween is the favourite time of year for me, autumn is my favourite season and halloween makes autumn even more fun!! Spooky stories, old haunted houses and of course loadsa candy!! So many events lately we have in Second Life my head spins sometimes trying to catch all! This year’s Candy Fair was amazing again with designers all around the grid showcased their home and decor and fashion items and the event included some exclusive items created just for Cnady Fair and candy season! I have personally fall in loved with Alouette’s Chevron red chair, it makes me remember red and white candy wrappings and is suitable for all styles and makes it the perfect autumn/winter chair to curl into with your cat and your book! Brixley’s wall art was another thing from Candy Fair that I loved. Chalkboard wood wall art which has halloween appropriate words were so cute and clever! Another event which ended but it was so amazing I wanted to last even longer was Consensual. Lovely Ravyn Hynes of Mudhoney had a red sofa in the event which went perfect with my new Alouette chair. It’s comfortable to sink in to, loaded with animations for you and your loved one plus has a warm throw blanket which can be taken on and off! The lovely branch chandelier from Apple Fall is at Kustom 9 October round and filled my little woods cabin by By Dorian from Home and Garden Expo with light. I can’t think of a more perfect getaway cabin to escape to in autumn!  Let me leave you with these images and see you verrrryyyy soon!

Dream Room

Just before the rain

Everyone has an idea of a how the perfect room should be right? Some like it modern, some more classic, some shabby chic, some industrial, some eclectic and some minimal. Well my heart is usually always in a place between eclectic and shabby chic/classic. I adore antiques in real life and Second Life. To me old does not mean dusty and unpractical, to me it’s a piece with history, memories and exquisite design. I am not a huge fan of minimal or too modern unfortunately as many seem to me too simple although I do appreciate that style’s fine examples too always. But yes thats where my heart lies; in gilt gold, fine wood, antique cream paints and finishes, florals and lace and silk and of course beautifully crafted furniture and buildings. That’s why I have almost shrieked with joy when I seen Apple Fall’s September 2014 Arcade items a month ago. The rare Mayfair skybox was an answer to my dreams with its worn walls, beautiful walls, parqueted wood floors, a grand Victorian fireplace and at a perfect size for me, my cats and new puppy. And the antique beautiful Roman bed and closet from again the same Apple Fall Arcade September 2014 set were the pieces I just would dream myself for a skybox like that if I had any building or design skills!! So I present you (even maybe a little late) my version of the Apple Fall Mayfair skybox. Also this months Kustom 9 has some beautiful teacup gacha set from Apple Fall and it fitted perfect to that dream house but would look good in anywhere really so I have tried some new layout in my bedroom to display them . What a joy to start the day in a house like that!
