Happy Halloween and Farewell from me!

Hello my dears!

It’s been a great 3 yrs blogging and I was so lucky to work with so many wonderful designers but unfortunately this is my last blog post and real life went too hectic for me to cope with sl blogging. If the designers didnt create those amazing designs and been very kind to support me I’d never been able to blog for this long (they say in Second Life time flies even faster!:P). Halloween is one of the absolute favourite times of the year for me, the spook and the fun is almost too much and it is after all a great time to celebrate all things witchy and catty as well! I will post a few more Halloween pics this weekend and then I will continue to be inworld in Second Life, just not able to blog. Autumn’s Touch

Once upon a time there was a little cottage on the top of a hill. It belonged to a girl who loved autumn so much that she even decorated her bedrooms walls with an autumn colored leafy wallpaper. It seemed to her when autumn’s first lights touched to her walls the leaves whispered and talked imitating the leafs of the trees outside. She even could swore sometimes that she felt motion rocking her room and bed when the leaves talk louder among themselves, especially in the windy days. One day she she heard the leaves said all together inside and outside: ” Little girl, little girl come out and see how beautiful we are, we heard you love autumn best and we promise you to be at our best behaviour when you come out to the garden to look to us!” The girl scarily looked around and answered: ” Who is there talking to me?” The leaves replied all together with a loud whisper: ” Well it’s us you little girl, you mustn’t fear us, we are after all talking to you and we are the leaves of the world. We believe you are our friend.” The little girl thought how could they whisper and yet be so loud at the same time. She replied ” Oh yes I am your friend, I love autumn and the autumn leaves. Thought everyone did?” They answered back after a long pause with a very sad voice ” No, no you must be aware at all times for those pesky summer lovers , they would ban and kill autumn and the winter following us if they could..They worship the sun you see an (you and us) worship the wind. They therefore are our enemies and we came to warn you as your now the friend of the wind and autumn too.” The little girl thought a bit and replied carefully, ” I am listening yes, how sad people can hate something so beautiful.. I personally am not a huge fan of summer for example. “The leaves chuckled and answered ” Yes yes we heard and we know. For all the autumn lovers out there,you must warn them and guide them to autumn as well little girl. We chose you as our saviour and messenger. Do not give in to the longing of summer. We must rest now till tomorrow when the rain visits us.” The little girl heard a slight sound of leaves moving and singing between them and she falled asleep in her bed which was rocked by their movement.”

Mystery Mansion’s Tale

” Once upon a time there was a huge mansion in a small town somewhere. It was believed to belong to a witch in the old days and has been the home of the witches of the town and their familiars since centuries. There were rumors and sightings of beautiful black cats, creepy looking bats and ravens, wise looking owls, a talking big rabbit and some winged horses  around the house at some nights and early mornings. The town dwellers were terrified of the house as they believed the witch would kidnap the most handsome and young member of the town in every 18 yrs. So young women and mothers would leave baskets of pumpkin pies, crusted apple pies, hot kettles of pumpkin spiced creamy coffee to the mansions doorstep as gifts to the witch so she wouldn’t kidnap their future husband or future baby. Not many have seen the actual witch actually but there were some books talking about her and she was believed to have very long dark hair and a young, innocent face that could lure anybody and convince them that she’s not a witch. That was how she was able to kidnap them and bring to her huge mansion. What happened to them afterwards was a big mystery and you could hear strange whispers and sounds around the house in foggy days. That’s why the mansion was called as “The Mystery Mansion.”

Sometimes I dream that I’m living in a mansion on a rainy hill near the sea somewhere. Where I would have a few cats, a few dogs and maybe a horse. A big garden with lots of lush trees which I will wander around with my dogs. And Apple Fall’s new released Hardwick Manor just lets you(and me!) to do that in our virtual corner of the world called Second Life… It’s a marvelously big house with a huge staircase, frescoed doorways (The doorway in the second floor if you look closely have beautiful flowery frescoes), some wide window nooks which you can place your benches and sofas so you can read a book and enjoy your coffee or just watch the outside, beautiful french glass doored living room, tiled bathroom floors and the most pretty sunroom you can ever see in Second Life which opens to a kitchen area. It has two bedrooms in the second floor, a bathroom, a huge attic in the thirdfloor. It’s a beautiful big house which will sit nicely in a nice landscaped spot. I say team it with the antique looking Clifton fireplaces from Apple Fall and you’ll have the most perfect manor in the neighboorhood!

Autumn is Coming

” Every time she looked to that old photograph she filled up with a sense of warmth and longing. Longing of the autumn days of her childhood, the big white dog at her aunt’s house, the warmth of the old, antique fireplace and the sound of her aunt’s preparing tea and cookies in the kitchen. The big white dog was very old, he would usually sit near the window or lay by the fireplace and would let her stroke his long white neck. She would also enjoy playing with the puzzle which her aunt kept in the living room, while the dog watches them carefully then they would sip silently their tea. Her aunt would read her old kids books while she played on the rugs. These were the memories behind that photograph and she could just feel being back at that time again whenever she looked at it especially when autumn is approaching.”

Last Day of The Gacha Garden!

Have you visited Gacha Garden event yet? If not this is your last chance as this is the very last day!! It’s been an awesome gacha event with many great designers! It had rares and a Seed of Inspiration item to get. Think of it as another rare item but everyone can win it after playing 1000 Linden. One of my favorite sets was from Zerkalo as I featured in one of my previous posts. And Pink Acid/Black Bantam’s doggies were adorable! Another set I really loved was the cute Neko items from Somali. This set consisted  some cute black kitties and food cans, food can bags, shelves to place your cat food items:))) So many amazing designers were involved hard to count them all! So hurry and don’t miss out on the last day and get some gacha sets for your gacha pleasure!!:))) Till we meet in the next Gacha Garden event!

Travellers Room

I have an obsession with attics. Well attics and sunrooms and fireplaces and beautiful windows and doors… I can spend all my time in a well decorated, cozy attic room and if it has a beautiful, old fireplace in it then even better. I love the Apple Fall farmhouse because it has a beautiful spacious but cozy attic room and that’s where I placed my new Apple Fall fireplace. It can be found till the end of August at the Fameshed event and it has white or black versions. It’s beautifully intricated, old and so beautiful. Another event which is open till the end of August is The Gacha Garden. It’s a gacha event with a twist, meaning if you play a certain amount (1000Linden) you’re guaranteed to win an Seed of Inspiration item which is exclusive to the event. So you get your common items, rares and one Seed of Inspiration. I loved the YS&YS wardrobe items and SOI item which is an wardrobe ladder with clothes and shoes on it ans can be found at the Gacha Garden. It fits perfect to showrooms as well as bedroom settings. Another beautiful new item is Kalopsia & Vagabond’s lace curtains at the Collab88 August. Kalopsia, it’s so perfect that it can fit to any room and house and fits beautifully with the new Kalopsia&Vagabond shell armchairs (texture change) at the new LTD event. I hope you’ll like my new bedroom as much I like it. Till I see you all soon, bious as the French says!:)

Fairies in Gacha Garden (New Gacha Event called Gacha Garden coming 1st of August!)

“There was a little girl who lived in a small shed near the forest right by a river. She loved fairies so her mum would often tell her stories of the fairies and other forest creatures they sometimes see. The little girl would make a fort in the living room and her mum would allow her as much as she wants to play in it. Sometimes she would even fell asleep there with her tiny pomeranian puppy which she named Maggie Pompom cause it reminded her a pompoms. Her mum would sometimes visit the village on the other side of the forest which she often called as Gacha Garden and would come back home with presents for her like pink and white balloons, flowers, ice creams and dresses. So the little girl and her mum and their pompom faced pomeranian puppy would fall asleep on the comfortable pillows which were made by actual fairies who lives in the forest and another day would pass just like that. ”

Romantic Boho

Hey everyone!

After a few of days blog difficulties (I couldnt reach my page etc but seems all back now!) I can finally present my new home and piccies!! Like it wasnt enough for me to not able to reach my blog the weather went sooo hot suddenly with the humid weather and 35 C degrees it’s hard to even move or breath!! But what do we do at life’s difficulties?? We say ” Haha” to it and ran away to our virtual Second Life to play!:)) And so I was hanging around in my tiny beach then decided I want a little cottage near sea where I can enjoy a green, wild garden and also the view and coolness of the sea. So I placed my little Dust Bunny cottage and started to decorate with the beautiful bed which Apple Fall did for Indie Teepee event (it’s an amazing rustic boho bed!!<3) and the elegant yet romantic armchair from Abiss Design and the clean cut yet a little rustic beautiful Mudhoney bathroom for Fameshed July..You can see all the pictures below, I enjoyed so much decorating this little place while drinking my Apple Fall cherry iced tea and cooling off on the whimsical WhatNext garden bench. Hope you’ll all like it too!
